Kate: Puzzle

One of my favorite PC games is Mirror’s Edge. Has a lot of strong points which include a cool story, lots of action, an amazing soundtrack and a splendid artwork.

I guess that is why I enjoyed it so much, because of the simplistic abstract artwork. I even got a tattoo with the logo of the game. This was planned a very long time ago. Wanted something simple, black, something that should remind me of fun times. And I went with the logo of Mirror’s Edge.

Thing is… A tattoo just demands another one.. And then another one… Just like Pringles, you cannot have just one :)))

I plan to get another one saying “Silent Hill”, I just have to find the perfect font for it. But for now I am very pleased with this one and I am very fond of it. This morning I woke up and after playing some Dead Trigger (android zombie FPS), I listened to one of the songs from the Mirror’s Edge Official Soundtrack. It is called Kate (Puzzle). Harmoniously pleasant to hear. Produced by Solar Fields.

Musical Remedy: Still Alive Remix

This is for those who want a Mirror’s Edge 2 game. Lisa Miskovsky – Still Alive Teddybears Remix. First time when I heard the original song was on a beautiful day of summer. I considered it amazing and since then this song was always included into my musical needs. The remix just reminds me of those minutes I spent getting Faith from one level to another.

I’m considering getting a tattoo with the logo of this game – wouldn’t it be great to have this game always into the happy memories section :).

[sigh]I play too much.

Runnin’ On Walls

The moment you feel stuck..that you’re not going anywhere. You can’t lose, you can’t win, you can’t participate, you can’t deal with it. Purposeless, emotionless, faithless, lifeless…this feeling is so damaging. I’ve tried it a few times. I’m not trying it now jut because I found a cure – music. I missed my old music.

The melodies that took me beyond reality – that inspired me and gave me strength.

I have to run on walls again…

Mirror’s Edge Comic Issue #1

The Mirror’s Edge game didn’t answer all the questions that were raised up by the plot and because the story of the Runners is so intensive, I decided to read the comic issues that followed this production.

The Runners are an illegal association, a courier group that works above the City’s legal requirements.

They tend not to get involve in what they are transporting, because they are paid only to deliver.

When Faith Connors is caught stealing, her victim will become soon the one to infiltrate her into this world of Runners.

Faith is ready for getting some action and because a new ear-piece must be tested, she is sent into the battle field.

A couple of stunts and she’s enjoying life like nobody else would. The only thing is that one of her comrades is in a pinch and he needs help – so by helping him, she gets to see what he was carrying – surveillance photos of her father.

Written by Rhianna Pratchett and illustrated by Matthew Dow Smith, this first issue is representing Faith’s first encounter with the dangerous world of the Runners.

She is persistent anyway so living on the edge it’s the best way for her to start.
