Android Game: War And Order

War and Order is an online Android fantasy-strategy game that I’ve been playing for a few days now.

screenshot_20170102-215219It is quite addicting, and it lets you built a city, recruit soldiers, gather resources, battle monsters and other players, get involved in raids and research different technologies to make your civilization more powerful.

The graphics look decent, at the beginning of the game you can build and evolve faster for free but then you will have to spend amounts of time waiting for buildings to be completed or resources gathered. But all-in-all is a very interesting game.

You also have a Lord with different skills that help improve your civilization.

As stated on Google Play, War and Order is a game in which:

Orc Knights, Elf Sages, Dragon Riders, and other incredible warriors are waiting to fight for your empire! Raise a massive fantasy army for HUGE, spectacularly animated battles! Axes fly, dragons roar, and fireballs sizzle as you clash with enemies from all over the world in real-time. Call on your allies to rush to your aid on horse- and lizard-back. Repay them with your undying loyalty as you take castles, slay ogres, and stake new territory as a tribe! THIS is the game you won’t be able to put it down as your screen lights up with constant new battles, chats, and upgrades!

You must battle to become more powerful than any king in history! But you can’t do it alone. It’s up to you and your allies to unite the fantasy races like never before as you conquer an endless world of empires and imagination.

• Recruit and train over 30 fantasy soldiers, uniting Orcs, Elves, Humans, and Golems
• Construct and upgrade tons of buildings for new soldiers, buffs, and resources!
• Research new magic and technology FAST for cutting-edge tactics and weapons!

• Friend, feud, and chat with players from around the world in real time.
• Help each other build and expand your cities faster.
• Rally together to take down enemies you could never face alone!
• Share and expand territory to enjoy exclusive buildings and bonuses!

• Sweep the battlefield in huge real-time PvP matches!
• Build your force to leviathan proportions!
• Engulf other lords’ castles as you expand your territory.

• Attack other player’s castles to plunder their resources and climb power rankings!
• Vanquish roaming monsters for their treasures, from man-eating Ogres to massive Dragons.

• Take over the Royal City to rule over the realm with unheard of power and privileges!
• Explore unknown lands to find elite resources, ancient ruins, and more surprises!
• Grow your alliance territory for richer rewards and resources!

There is also a Fan Facebook Page for the game.

Warcraft Official Trailer

June 2016 is the official date for the release of an epic journey into a fantastic world, a live action adaptation of Blizzard’s hit game Warcraft.

Under the motto: Two Worlds. One home we will have the chance to enter the battle between Orcs and Humans, visiting places that were depicted in the games. Directed by Duncan Jones, Warcraft: The Beginning looks promising.

Witch And The 100 Soldiers: PS3 Getting Too Many Of These

I recently stumbled upon this title “Witch and the 100 Soldiers” – an RPG due to be released this spring for the PS3 and I wondered who’d buy this game taking into consideration that it looks kinda dumb and childish.

Lots of colors cannot make a game buyable – as an RPG – it should be glowing, not having “cute” witches summoning mini-soldiers.

The anime style used in here doesn’t help – it brings down a unique title. It’s a Japanese game – lots of other things may have helped making it more enjoyable.

Looking at this – this should be a PSP game for your son to play at his 10th birthday. I’ve seen the same mistake in other genres as well. For example lots of fantasy MMORPG that you can play for free have this anime-simplistic style to accompany you. It’s not attractive at all – it’s like more and more games are redirected to 5-year-olds that start exploring fantasy.

A game should be a piece of art – not a please-buy-a-copy-of-this-simple-product.

That’s the problem with J-RPGs – they don’t depict ideas right – going only for linear dialogues and what’s-under-her-skirt moments. I hope there is at least a good story associated with it.

Imperion – Free Browser-Based game

This new type of games wasn’t very attractive to me…but today after I had a discussion with some of my friends who enjoy playing browser-based MMOs and RTSs, I said that I should try something new for a change.

So, after a bit of research I happened to get upon this game – Imperion. It is free, the registration is very easy and you can immediately start to play.

The story goes this way – It’s the year 2137. A thousand year old conflict threatens to rip apart a universe in which three species are fighting for domination. After great battles, hope now rests on your shoulders. Vast, unexplored galaxies await you. Develop new technologies, spaceships, and buildings. Establish your own intergalactic empire now!

Basically you have to choose one of the available species and start creating your own base – Xen, Terrans or Titans.

I went with the Titansbecause as the description says – they are the eldest intelligent species in the Universe and they are capable of progressing like no other life form can.

Wisdom is what makes them be a great nation. They don’t believe in War and still they have to confront their enemies.

So, shall we start with a short guide to what I’ve learned in the last two hours?

First of all, all things in here run based upon energy. The Alien Energy Chamber is the first step to a new colony. This monument is thought to be the relic of an alien civilization. The AEC (Alien Energy Chamber) acts as an initial source of energy for each home world.

After establishing this, you can continue building all what’s necessary for your energy to grow up.

For other parts of your colony to get developed, you need a research lab. A ‘research lab’ grants access to new buildings and vessels as well as to a lot of other functions.

Then comes the scientific research. I personally went with the Engineering branch. It will help me develop my structures and get more energy material as I exploit my terrain.

For now, the game is very interesting. After I’ll develop more structures and upgrade them I’ll continue to state some of the things you should know if you want to play this game.

Spirited Away [perceptions]

Simply put and also finding myself trying to avoid the same cliche when talking about some of my favorites movies, Spirited Away it’s [for me] better than any Hollywood adventure-themed production.

It’s best that it’s animated cuz if it was a live-action motion, it wouldn’t be this great.

This will not be a regular review, [part of this due to the age of this film – 2001] and I’ll not introduce you to all the movie details.

Spirited Away [Oscar winner] it’s the story about finding your own purpose, a story that helps you to find your own limits. It’s a chance to discover your true self and to establish a relation-ship with your close-ones. Chihiro, our hero in this production will have to save her parents from a magical and also dark and twisted world.

Spirited Away presents a little girl who [along with her parents] ends up in this strange city where nobody lives. That until the night comes and the spirits come out and start their activity.

The depiction of the spirits and their lives it’s just awesome. The environment and the world itself it’s created perfectly. This could be a message of understanding the life after death, where everything’s supposed to be perfect and without any black spots.

Chihiro ends working at this public bath – where spirits enter and clean themselves. The part with the Filth Spirit it’s the best part of the movie. [damn, I’m being way too subjective in here].

Great characters, events that reveal the inner side of the human being and also lots of messages for the little ones. You can learn many things from this movie…okay I’ll stop here. A must see…recommended!!
